A Grasp of the PastPosted by Tracey (Camrose, Canada) on 29 March 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Many of the grain elevators are coming down in the province and being replaced by huge concrete terminals. The elevators were used for farmers in a co operative to store and ship their grain, most are build right on the railway tracks so that the train could fill right at the elevator.
